My beautiful couple from last year, just welcomed another member of the family last month, Miss Z. Talk about a good baby, this little one withstood our manipulating and contorting of her body and waking her up every 15 minutes to switch positions. I hope one day she looks back at these pictures and enjoys them as an adult!

I am fortunate that no one in my family has suffered from this disease, though we have not escaped other cancers and heart disease. I try to dedicate as much time as I can to local charitable organizations and this was my most recent one. Details:

Yes, I’m a blog slacker – but it’s so easy these days to just post to Facebook! Well, I know that the next few blogrolls are going to be a little dated – from March for sake! But I am making up for lost time and showing my blog some love

As you can see, my blog has undergone another slight transformation. All to keep you on your toes. Eh, well, maybe not, but I decided that this year was the year to start anew. My old branding had served me well over the past 3 years, but as I grow in my craft, I knew I had to do something to bring my branding and image up to speed. Through many creative bounces between my friends – and thanks to Cindy, Andrea, Jerry and Lindsey for helping me through it – I think I nailed it. On the head. Deader than the doornail was before I hit it.
The blog is a little clue as to what the website will reflect as well as all of my other marketing pieces.

I know that many of you know what has happened over the past few months, but many of you are kind of sketchy about it. As one of my clients said, “You should have told us” – well, I was in a bit if a state and could not possibly contact everyone who it may or may not concern. I just wanted to bring you up to speed.
Over the past few months, we have had quite a few personal tragedies – my husband was involved in a bad auto accident in July that took him away from work for a few months. Right after that, my grandfather passed away and one week later, my father passed away. Aside from that, I have had to help take care of my grandmother’s affairs as well as her medical care. Recently, I have been given the authority to make all of her decisions.
And that’s just the short list.
I wanted to publicly thank those of you who have been supportive and understanding. My clients are super important to me and I try my best to make everyone happy. Truthfully, having to deal with all of this has slowed down some of my workflow, but I wanted to assure everyone that I am still on task and getting through the list of work to do. I appreciate all of your thoughts, prayers and emotional support. From my clients, my friends and my competitors.
I have learned many life’s lessons over the past few months and I wanted to let all of you know that your actions are wonderfully appreciated.
