Yessssss. I love my caffeine. When you come into the studio, expect various chocolates and some of my wonderful java. But it’s not just ANY bean, try espresso beans! My special machine can pressure brew in 30 seconds, the best cup you have ever had! The crema will tell you!
Whipping it up (look at that crema on top!):

Nice concoction. I have one every morning (and maybe a few more throughout the day!). Can’t give away what I put in it until you come see me!!:

What? We can celebrate family today, and all things BEACH! One of my wonderful clients and friends, invited me out to their beach house for some wonderful family portraits. It was so beautiful and I could not resist the adult slushies! Here are a few from yesterday:
Always the accommodating hostess!

Where’s daddy??

Little angels on the beach!

Let me just say that this has got to be one of my all-time favorites so far. It’s so ethereal and I feel like it is really strong, yet soft and nurturing.

Wow! What a weekend! All I can say is that all couples married this past weekend received SUPER DUPER luck, with as much rain that pounded the pavement. Kim and Joel were wed on Saturday, July 21st at the gorgeous Powell Crosley Estate in Sarasota, FL. The rain was so bad, that everything was moved into the library for the ceremony, but how wonderful everything turned out! We even had a break in the pitter-patter to get outside and get some cool shots. Grant Hemond supplied the sounds. Delectables catered and did a fantastic job, as well as A Slice of Heaven for the cake (which has GOT to be my new favorite!). A key lime cake with key lime mousse! YUM!
Here are a few images to feast on!

Here is one from the same shoot as my print below, but I did not enter it into the competition. It’s called “Let Me Out”

I am not one to put myself out there for my peers to judge me, but I thought this was the time. I became a member of the FMoPA this year (Florida Museum of Photographic Art) and decided to enter my first judged art print competition.
Though I did not win, I received an honorable mention! It was based on content, the print itself and the presentation. Though I did well on content and the actual print, I had no frame! They would have preferred that I had a white matte with a black frame for presentation.
Good notes for future entries! Here is the image:
