Remembering my dad

I wanted to tell you something about my dad while it’s all fresh in my head. I was lucky enough to have an amazing dad. He could make ribs fall off the bone, he built amazing things with just a little bit of elbow grease and a garage full of junk. He taught me about computers, science, woodworking and when we stood together outside looking at the stars, he became my philosopher. He picked me up when I fell – over and over again. He was there for me in spirit when that was all he could give.

And yes, he gave me my first camera. He was the camera buff before me. He gave me so much more than any daughter could want. He tucked me in, he gave me strength.

I love my dad.
